So Much For Goals!!

I didn't even try to keep the goal of writing this blog! Oh well. So it's been a few weeks and I have a couple of things that I thought were worth writing about.

First let me say, Nancy, if you read this please know that I am thinking of you always, checking your blog and I know I am a big flakey loser for not picking up the phone more often. I hear you are moving to Florida! It is hit or miss as far as my schedule as I am sure it is the same for you but let's keep trying anyway!!! Love and miss you!!

Now I am going to embarass myself and share a conversation Richard and I had after church a few weeks ago. Service ended and my husband turned to me and said "I wonder what nationality Pastor Mark is?" I looked at him, completely confused and say "he's white!!" Now he looks at me completely confused and dumbfounded and then starts laughing. He first tells me that I am cute and explains he means NATIONALITY, not ethnicity. I try to defend my position that clearly I answered right and finally concede that I am slightly airheaded. I did finally crack up over it and still do as I write this. If you could have seen the looks on both of our faces!! Oh my gosh. What an idiot!!! LOL

Watching t.v. last night this same lovely man turns to me after a commercial for hair color that advertises 100% coverage of gray turns to me and says something to the effect of "you should buy that." I gave him a little bit of a look and asked what he was trying to say. He tells me that while I was talking to a friend at church that he noticed I am starting to look like him (he is completely gray) and then says "I noticed you have kids" ie, they are turning me gray. I simply replied that I know it looks great, I look great and he loves it. He wisely agreed. I must admit I am almost to the point of coloring it. I am afraid to do it myself but I don't want to spend the time or the money to have someone else do it. Oh well, it isn't a crisis yet. Maybe I will just have long gray hair one day..........

I am hosting Moms in Touch prayer group this morning and the ladies should start arriving any minute.
